Malls burglarized again

The Healing Spirit Clinic and T-Nails, two businesses located in the strip mall next to ACE Hardware, were reported burglarized this past weekend, according to Princeton Police Chief Brian Payne.

This is the second set of burglaries at a strip mall in Princeton within less than a month. Burglaries were made at six businesses in the strip mall just south of the SuperAmerica gas station Jan, 7-8.

Police are investigating both burglaries and neither case had been solved as of Monday. Both cases were forced-entry burglaries. While undisclosed items were taken in the Jan. 7-8 burglary, it wasn’t yet known what, if anything, was taken in the most recent burglary, Payne said.

The break-ins involved forcing open doors. Police also received a report that a burglary was attempted at Great Clips, located in the same strip mall as Healing Spirit Clinic and T-Nails. The Great Clips complaint was made on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7:52 a.m. and the burglary report at T-Nails was made the same day, but at 3:56 p.m. The Healing Spirit Clinic burglary report was made on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 5:31 a.m.
