Wheeler honored by bus company

Chuck Wheeler has been honored by Minnesota Central School Bus Co. as one of the company’s top drivers. The honor comes through parent company North America Central/Illinois Central School Bus’ new incentive program to increase safety and attendance among staff members. The company’s safety and attendance incentive program is open to drivers, mechanics and monitors nationwide, at all 54 of the company’s locations. To qualify, a staff member must be free of preventable accidents and workers’ compensation claims and have perfect attendance for a given month. Qualifying staff will have their name put in a drawing at the end of the month and the winner at each location will receive a flat-screen TV. There were 39 employees from the Princeton location eligible for the drawing. Wheeler, driver of bus 2108 (Snake Bus) was the TV winner in Princeton.


North Memorial Ambulance honored

North Memorial Ambulance, which provides service to more than 50 communities in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, has once again received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS). North Memorial Ambulance is the only Minnesota-based ambulance service to successfully complete the voluntary review process which includes the completion of a comprehensive application and on-site review by national experts in emergency medical services (EMS).


Cynthia Miller opens law office

The law office of Cynthia J. Miller has opened in Princeton at 209 North Rum River Drive, Suite 4.

Cynthia J. Miller-Puent practices in the areas of family law. Her family law practice includes divorce, custody, paternity, child support and adoption as well as child protection matters with extensive experience in cases involving the Indian Child Welfare Act. A 1999 graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, Miller has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Patients wanted for heart attack study

The CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center is seeking patients to participate in a clinical research study investigating the use of a drug and its ability to reduce risk of future heart attacks and other cardiovascular events such as stroke.

Men or women who have had a myocardial infarction at least 30 days ago may qualify to participate in the research study. Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and medication at no cost. Participants may continue their current medications throughout the study.
