Choir performs at Orchestra Hall

The Princeton High School Concert Choir in their solo performance at Orchestra Hall under the direction of their conductor, Mark Potvin.

The 47-member Princeton High School concert choir was selected as one of five high school choirs in the state to perform at the seventh annual Choral Arts Finale in Orchestra Hall on Sunday night. Sunday was the second time that the PHS concert choir has been selected for the honor. The first time was in 2007.

The Choral Arts Finale, described as a premier high school choral festival, is cosponsored by the American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota and Concordia University, St. Paul. Applicants must submit an audition of the choir’s singing during this school year. The choir also had an opportunity to work with renowned clinician Andre Thomas, director of choral activities at Florida State University in Tallahassee.
