Meth found at Princeton home

North Central Drug Task Force agents assisted during a Department of Corrections home visit of Jonna Sue Carson, 47, at 10514 55th Street, Princeton, in early April and found a white powdery substance that field-tested positive as methamphetamine.

Agents also found a light bulb with a burnt residue in it, a recently filled prescription for 340 oxycodone pills, of which only eight remained, a small metal scale, numerous small plastic bags and pills in unmarked containers.

Carson has prior controlled substance convictions from 2003, 2010 and 2011. She has been charged with fifth degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She faces up to 10 years in jail and/or more than $20,000 in fines.
