Carol Ann Finke was born January 12, 1948 in Minneapolis to John and Harriet (Anderson) Redpath.
She grew up in St. Louis Park and graduated from Park High School. On September 6, 1969, Carol was united in marriage with Gerald Finke at Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Louis Park. They lived in Wisconsin on a dairy farm and later moved to Princeton. Carol enjoyed raising her three children and helping her husband on their dairy farm.
Carol enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, attending the Minnesota State Fair and her annual sisters trip to the craft fair in Little Falls. Her best medicine was spending time with her granddaughter, Elizabeth, who was her pride and joy.
Carol is survived by her children David (Jessica) Finke of Princeton and Karin Finke (fiancé Andrew Leland) of Elk River; granddaughter Elizabeth; mother Harriet Redpath of St. Louis Park; brothers and sisters Dennis Redpath of Deerwood, Roger Redpath of Wayzata, Tracy (Deb) Redpath of Hanover, Sheila (Ray) Gattone of Atco, N.J., Gail (Mark) Sisk of Plymouth; mother-in-law Leona Finke of St. Michael and other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Gerald in 1992; son Michael in 2004, father John in 2012; infant brother David and father-in-law Elmer Finke.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24 at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish, North Campus, Princeton.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in St. Edward’s Catholic Cemetery, Princeton.
