Lee Hansen

Lee J. H. Hansen passed away Aug 13, 2012 at the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN.

Lee was born March 15, 1946 in Elk River, MN to Walter and Christina Hansen.

He joined the Army in 1965.  He served in Vietnam where he was wounded and earned the Purple Heart.

He was married to Linda Johnson from 1968 to 1972.

He married Iris Lindell  in June 1974.  They lived on the Hansen homestead near Princeton, MN.

He was a carpenter by trade.  He enjoyed woodworking, deer hunting, gardening, and making maple syrup.

Above all else, he loved his family and friends.

Lee is survived by his wife, Iris; sons, Tom, Rob, Lance and Robin, Leslie and Amy, and Corey and Ann; twelve granddaughters and one great grandson.  He is also survived by brother, Alvin, sisters, Vera, Leona, and Elaine and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna.

Funeral service will be Saturday Aug 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Princeton, MN.  Visitation will be the hour before at the church.
