Biscuits and Gravy

Jarrett Ott of Zimmerman, who attended Princeton Public Schools, is a sales associate at Ashworth Appliance & Electronics in Princeton. Ott, who enjoys working with electronics, built his own computer. He hopes to become either a computer scientist or electrical engineer, and plans to study at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also enjoys playing video games, of which his favorite is Starcraft II. He likes movies and his favorite one to date is “Boondock Saints,” whose main characters are two Irish Catholic brothers. Other interests include music (he plays piano, guitar and drums, and has a cello he has yet to learn), hunting, fishing, baking and cooking.



1 cup flour

1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage

1/2 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 cup butter

1/2 gallon milk

baked Pillsbury Grand buttermilk biscuits


Brown the sausage and add butter to pan and let melt. Add the milk and stir three minutes. Slowly stir in the flour. Then add the salt and pepper. Cook until thick and creamy. Pour over Pillsbury Grand buttermilk biscuits.
