Virgil Mossberg

Virgil Alberta Mossberg, age 95, of Princeton, MN passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Princeton Care and Rehab Center in Princeton, MN.

Virgil was born to Theodore and Daisy (Rose) Kuykendall on February 15, 1917 in Ironton, MN.

Virgil retired from Brown and Bigelow in St. Paul, MN.  She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Anoka for many years.  Virgil was Minneapolis’ first woman bus driver, known to wear her hat on the side and greet people with a warm smile.  Virgil loved people and animals and they loved her.

Virgil is survived by daughter:  Ruthann (Joseph) Liebersbach of Princeton; grandchildren:  Jeffery (Sheri) Neuschwander of Morristown, MN, Albert (Trudy) Neuschwander of Mora, MN, Donna DuBois and fiance’ (Roger) of Princeton; great-grandchildren: Dustin, Josh, Shay and Christopher; many, many great-great- grandchildren; brother:  Theodore (Marg) Kuykendall of Woodenville, WA; sister-in-laws:  Lorraine Kuykendall of Richland, WA, Margarette Kuykendall of Tyler, TX, Adele Mossberg of Bloomington, MN, Farel Mossberg of Denver, CO and many nieces and nephews.

Virgil was preceded in death by her parents; husband:  Alan Donald Mossberg; children:  Harold Winch, Albert Winch and daughter:  Barbara Winch; grandson:  Martin Hansen; great-grandson:  Aaron Neuschwander; brothers:  Arnold Kuykendall, Albert Kuykendall and sister:  Phoebe Dykes.

Visitation:  10:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Princeton, MN.

Funeral Service:  11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Princeton, MN.

Interment:  Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
