Three injured in crash at Long Siding

Another, in a long history of auto collisions at the Long Siding intersection of Highway 169 and Mille Lacs County Road 13, took place last Friday at 12:46 p.m. The State Patrol reported three people injured in the accident, none life-threatening. Carol Lager, 74, Elk River, was taken from the 2006 Chevrolet SUV (shown in ditch) to Fairview Northland in Princeton and then sent by North Air Care to the Twin Cities for treatment. Sean Boman, 44, Milaca, the driver of the white 2010 Malibu (shown on highway), and his passenger Evan Boman, 18, were taken to Fairview Northland. The State Patrol said that Boman’s car was heading east across Highway 169 when it collided with the northbound SUV driven by Lager. Lager had the right of way.
