Entering Saturday’s Milaca Mega Meet, Princeton cross country Coach John Auel saw good things from his squads when he had runners matching opponents at their distinct grade level. The Tiger boys varsity ran to a ninth-place finish among the 21 teams in the “AAA” race, with Tiger personal-bests coming across the levels.

PHS Coach John Auel: “In the ten years I’ve coached, we have only received one trophy for finishing in the top seven at the Mega Meet. On Saturday, we got a fifth in the seventh-grade race from Maddy Jung (13:11), a fifth in the eighth-grade race from Samantha Swedzinski (12:55), and a fourth in the 10th grade girls race with Shaelin Lekatz (16:12).”

The Tiger boys varsity was rewarded with sub-18:00 times frm Ryan Yonak, Jack Sinkel, Brian Kunz and Michael Huebsch.
