A memorial service for Lenore D. Holroyd, 84, of Foley, Minn. was Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Foley with the Rev. Allen Jergenson and the Rev. Bill Everett officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Mound Cemetery in Foley.
Lenore died Nov. 5 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minn.
She was born July 13, 1928 in South St. Paul, Minn. to George and Laura (Kahl) Kromschroeder. She grew up in Inver Grove Heights and lived and farmed most of her life in rural Foley.
She married Clayton Holroyd on Oct. 2, 1944 in Oglivie, Minn. She enjoyed gardening, canning and raising flowers.
She is survived by her children, Marjie (Ed) Morow of Richfield, Minn. and Bill (Catherine) of Foley, Minn.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and sister Jeanette Rheinert of Waitsburg, Wash.
Lenore was preceded in death by her husband Clayton; siblings, Stanley, Don, George and Gloria Lowe.
Arrangements were by the Foley Funeral Home in Foley.
