Kerri Pieles Keane

Kerri Rose Pieles Keane, age 41, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Dec. 12, 2012, with her family and friends by her side, in Ft. Bragg, N.C.obit-Kerri-Keane
Kerri was born on Oct. 27, 1971, in Fridley, to Gerald and Roxanne Pieles (Germaine). She graduated from Princeton High School in 1991, and attended Beauty College in St. Cloud, and received her beautician’s license and she worked in several different salons. She married Thomas Keane on May 8, 1993, in Zimmerman. She lived a military lifestyle, living in Hawaii, and North Carolina, but her pride and joy were her husband and three children – Elizabeth, Rebecca, and Ryan. Kerri was very active in Tom’s career, volunteering as the FRG (family readiness group) leader and was awarded the commander’s award. Kerri was also very active in the kids’ schools volunteering, and was awarded the volunteer of the year award several times. She was also PTO president at McNair and Irwin and Albritton schools in Ft. Bragg, N.C.
She was proceeded in death by her father Gerald Pieles. Survivors include her husband Tom Keane; children Elizabeth, Rebecca, and Ryan of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; mother Roxanne Pieles of Princeton; sister Kris Almen (Dennis) of Princeton; brother Kenneth Pieles (Valerie), lots of nieces and nephews, and a great-nephew.
A memorial will be held on March 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Princeton VFW back room.
