2:11 a.m. A homeless man with no shirt was reported to be sleeping inside McDonald’s. Officers removed the man from the restaurant.
7:30 a.m. The theft of credit cards and a social security number were reported from a resident of Woodland Circle. Credit cards were used in California and Minnesota. Theft valued at between $3,000 and $4,000.
11:14 a.m. Received a report from the police department in Rapid City, S.D., that a fraudulent use of a credit card was made in Princeton.
2:47 p.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop on Highway 95 at 127th Avenue. Arrests were made for fifth degree possession.
4:23 p.m. A potential break-in was reported in the 800 block of Old County 18.
7:42 p.m. A burglary was reported at a residence in the 400 block of Sixth Avenue S. Taken were an air compressor, heater, leather bibs and two jackets.
Tuesday, March 12
10:33 a.m. A woman reported that the gas pumps were marked wrong at an area gas station, causing her to put wrong fuel into her vehicle. This caused damage to her vehicle, she reported.
11:43 a.m. Following a traffic stop, a 34-year-old female was booked into the Mille Lacs County Jail for driving with a revoked license.
12:40 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 400 block of Rum River Dr. S. Two vehicles sustained damage.
1:47 p.m. A 42-year-old female was taken into custody in the 1500 block of First Street on a Department of Corrections pick-up order.
4:55 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $45.35 was reported at Holiday.
5:43 p.m. The theft of a Honda scooter and a mini-chopper were reported from a garage in the 300 block of Rum River Dr. S. Total value of the vehicles was estimated at $550.
Wednesday, March 13
3:22 a.m. Responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of 18th Ave. N.
4:55 p.m. A four-vehicle, chain-reaction accident was reported at Fourth Street S. and Rum River Drive.
6:50 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported at Rum River Drive and Second Street N.
8:47 p.m. A 34-year-old female was cited for misdemeanor theft following an incident at Coborn’s.
Friday, March 15
6:29 a.m. A vehicle lost control on a wet road on Rum River Dr. and slid into a bridge. Front end of vehicle sustained damage.
6:58 a.m. A female driver was pulled over on Rum River Drive and Second Street after going through a red light. She was cited for driving after revocation and driving with no insurance. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
7:54 a.m. Responded to a report of a car in a ditch along Highway 95.
12:05 p.m. A driver drove into a post at Peoples Bank on Rum River Dr. The vehicle knocked down the post.
8:13 p.m. Princeton police and fire departments responded to a vehicle rollover on 85th Avenue at 62nd Street. Individuals were trapped inside vehicle.
9:05 p.m. Assisted with a report of a vehicle in a ditch in the 6500 block of Highway 169.
Saturday, March 16
8:40 a.m. Investigated the report of a theft at Walmart.
Sunday, March 17
4:02 a.m. Responded to a vehicle rollover accident in the 400 block of 21st Avenue N. A 26-year-old male was arrested for second degree DWI. Additional charges are pending. Vehicle was towed from the scene.
9:39 p.m. Responded to a dispute over the ownership of a cellular telephone in the 100 block of Old County 18.
9:44 p.m. Assisted Sherburne County Sheriff’s Department with a situation on 311th Avenue in rural Princeton. A person with a gun was refusing to come out of a residence after a domestic situation. Suspect was talked out and taken into custody without incident.
