Nancy Oleson

Nancy Darlene Oleson, age 72, of Floodwood, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Princeton.Oleson,-Nancy
Nancy was born on August 4, 1940, in Robbinsdale, to Jacob and Selma (Aune) Brakstad. She grew up in Lamoure, N.D., and graduated from Lamoure High School.
Nancy worked 14 years in housekeeping for the Elim Home in Princeton. She also worked for the Bonaventure Travel Agency. Nancy spent a brief period of time living in California, while there, she worked at Mervyn’s Department store. Nancy was also an employee of Westling Manufacturing in Princeton.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing and she was also a member of the Battle Brook Homemakers Club. Most importantly, she enjoyed time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Louallen Oleson of Floodwood; daughters Robin Pine, Julie (Darryl) Thomas, Holly Erickson, Amy (Richard) Kuehn, Sally Loss (Darrell Zeroth); son Darryl (Linda) Loss; sisters Shirley Wright and Diane Civello; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Donald Loss; grandson Curtis Johnson; son-in-law John Pine; three brothers and six sisters.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Princeton. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Rev. Donald E. Britt will officiate and burial will be at Baldwin Cemetery, Princeton.
