Marvin Lester Snow, age 79, of Princeton, passed away on May 1, 2013.obit-Marvin-Snow
Marvin was born December 30, 1933, in Greenbush Township, Mille Lacs County, to William Oren (John) and Mabel Teresa (Boehm). He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a radio traffic analyst. He married Anna Emma Brinkman on April 23,1955, in Elk River. He worked as a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of American Legion Post 216. Marvin enjoyed history, playing cards, fishing and gardening.
Marvin is survived by his wife Anna of Princeton; seven children, David (Carol), Donald (Ronda), Dennis (Lois), all of Princeton, Daryl of Mankato, Helen Durant of Princeton, Marina Attart of St. Paul and Teresa Ott of Princeton; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters.
He was preceded in death by grandson Daniel, son-in-law Dar Durant, his parents, four brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Princeton from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 with Pastor Michael Soppeland officiating. A memorial service to follow. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Princeton.
