Mayerchak earns National Merit award

]Princeton High School senior Isaiah Mayerchak has been named a Commended Student in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The announcement was made by Princeton High School Principal Pete Olson at the May 8 School Board Scholars ceremony.
A Letter of Commendation from the school and erchak earns National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, was presented by Olson to Mayerchak, a scholastically-talented senior.
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2013 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013 competition by taking the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
