Okee Dokee Brothers kick off reading program


The Princeton Area Library kicks off its 2013 summer reading program on Wednesday, June 12 with a special visit from the Grammy Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers. The action starts at 10 a.m.
Their album “Can You Canoe?” won a Grammy for best children’s album of the year at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
With the 2013 reading program, readers preschool through sixth grade will explore the under­ground theme, “Dig Into Reading,” with stories, music, crafts and more. Preschoolers may have an adult or older child read to them.
Throughout the summer, there will be a variety of programs and activities for kids of all ages.
Stop by the Princeton Area Library and pick up a flyer listing all the activities and the program guidelines. Teens may participate in their own summer reading program. Ask for details at the library.
