Rain interrupts feature finals at Speedway

Friday night was going to be a fun night at the Princeton Speedway, but Mother Nature got the best of the track and forced the night to be done early. The night started off with a flyover of two WW I replica biplanes and the Junior Race Fans holding a pedal tractor pull for the kids.

Although the Junior Race Fans were able to complete their pedal tractor pull competition, due to the weather, the race track wasn’t able to hold the featured races. The Princeton Speedway was able to complete all the regular WISSOTA class heats, making it a complete show.

Since it was a complete show, wristbands from Friday night cannot be used for free admission next week. Hornet drivers (drivers only) can use their pit bands to get in next week, but those will be the only wristbands honored.

Features for all WISSOTA classes will be made up on the following dates: May 31 – WISSOTA Mod Fours, Midwest Modifieds and Modifieds; June 14 – WISSOTA Street Stocks and Super Stocks.

• On June 7, the Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series will be on hand along with all six regular classes for the “Billy Anderson Memorial Night” at the Princeton Speedway.
