Skarohlid’s 40th year

Skarohlid’s 40th year Art Skarohlid, president of the Princeton branch of Bremer Bank, visits with twins, Arnold (left) and Arnett Alferness, of Princeton, last Thursday. The twins were among the well wishers there to observe the 40th anniversary of Skarohlid working at the bank. Skarohlid began working there as a janitor and moved up through being bookkeeper, teller, teller supervisor, lending officer, counselor for ag lending, business banker and mortgage loan officer on the way to bank branch president. Skarohlid, 64, who is 10 years younger than the Alferness twins, says he has no plans to retire.(Joel Stottrup / Union-Eagle)
