Highway 169 work

Motorists traveling either direction on Highway 169 between Zimmerman and Long Siding began encountering daytime delays as segments of the road were reduced to a single lane beginning Monday, July 8. The closures will continue to occur from sunrise to sunset through mid-October.
No closures will occur on northbound Highway 169 from 10 a.m. Fridays to 5 p.m. Saturdays, nor on southbound Highway 169 from 11 a.m. Saturdays through 10 p.m. Sundays. The closures are needed as crews resurface the road, construct or extend six turn lanes, close six crossovers and install or repair guardrail and underground pipes. The project is 16 miles long.
