$32,000 in merchandise stolen from Crawford’s

The Isanti County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in a theft last week at Crawford’s Equipment.
According to Investigator Rob Bowker, approximately $32,000 in mowers and trailers were stolen from Crawford’s on July 29. Crawford’s is located at the intersection of Highways 95 and 47, approximately 8 miles west of Cambridge.
A red and silver Chevrolet pickup pulled into Crawford’s Equipment at 6 a.m. and backed up to the southwest corner of the building, reports said.
The vehicle hooked up to a Big Tex 5th wheel trailer that had three Ex Mark zero-turn radius mowers on it. The vehicle pulled out from the corner of the building and proceeded eastbound on Highway 95.
The vehicle has a distinct dent in the bed on the driver’s side, along with some paint missing on the rear of the bed on the same side.
“We did receive some tips from the public last week, and checked them out, but we are still looking for that specific pickup with the dent in the bed on the driver’s side,” Bowker said this week. “We need the tips to keep coming in from the public, and we will continue to follow up on all leads.”
The sheriff’s department is continuing to ask for the public’s help in locating the pickup and identifying the suspects related to this crime. If you have any information or can help identify this vehicle, call the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 763-691-2426.
