Nortech Systems employees elect to support food shelf

Nortech Systems Incorporated ’s Milaca location is supporting the Milaca Area Pantry with a $1,000 donation as part of the company’s community outreach efforts.
“Our employees helped us decide which local organization to support,” said John Niemi, Nortech Systems’ plant manager of the Milaca facility. “Many deserving options were considered and we are glad to be able to give back to our neighbors.”
In Milaca, Nortech Systems employs 47 people involved in the life sciences and manufacturing of medical devices. Nortech Systems utilizes a variety of advanced manufacturing practices including lean, six-sigma, continuous improvement and other techniques. The company serves a broad range of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in three primary market areas: medical, industrial, and defense.
Nortech Systems has more than 700 full and part-time employees across Minnesota, Wisconsin and Mexico. Each of Nortech Systems’ manufacturing and service locations is making a charitable donation in their community.
Nortech Systems is headquartered in Wayzata and is a full-service electronics manufacturing services provider of wire and cable assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, and higher-level complete box build assemblies for a wide range of industries.
