Princeton Football took it to North Branch for a 35-0 home victory Oct. 11, improving its overall record to 5-2 on the season. AJ Wesloh scored on runs of 33 and 1 yards, and Cole Warren added a 19-yard TD run as the Tigers led early 22-0. Zach Kitzman and Cody Schuelke finished off the scoring with two more scoring runs into the stiff wind.
The Tigers close out the regular season at Cambridge-Isanti Oct. 16 as they fight for a first-round bye for the upcoming Section 7AAAA playoffs.

The Tigers put together a total team effort to pull off a mild upset over the No. 3 seed Wildcats on the road Saturday afternoon. Maggie Peterson scored the lone goal of the match in regulation.
Princeton next travels to No. 2 seed Duluth Denfeld for a 6 p.m. Section 7A semifinals game on Tuesday, Oct. 15, with the match held on the Duluth Public Stadium turf. Hermantown and Proctor play in the other semfinals match.
7AA Playoffs: Duluth East 5, Princeton Girls Tennis 2
The Greyhounds took the rubber game in the three matches between them and Princeton this season, winning 5-2 in the Oct. 12 Section 7AA Team semifinals in Duluth. East takes on Elk River for the 7AA Team title on Oct. 14.
Also on Monday, the 14th, two Princeton entries are playing in the 7AA Singles & Doubles tourneys. Mary Claire Mayerchak is the South No. 2 seed in Singles. Bri and Kelsey Dorr are the South No. 4 seed in Doubles.
