Tiger Wrestlers stack up wins

With the lineup coming further together, Princeton wrestling raised its season record to 5-7 after a busy two-day stretch last weekend.

At a home quadrangular on Friday night, the Tigers defeated Zimmerman 58-12 and Elk River 46-21. Monticello got past Princeton 40-34 to dip the Tigers’ Mississippi 8 record to 1-2 this winter.

The next morning at the St. Cloud Tech triangular, Princeton knocked off St. Cloud Apollo 52-25 before falling to the host Tigers 42-27.

• On Dec. 17 at Milaca, Princeton beat Mille Lacs 57-18 before dropping a tight 35-34 match to the host Wolves. Earning pins against Milaca were Jesse McClay (113), Bialka (132) and Gabe Kolhoff (145), with B. McClay (170) winning by forfeit.
