Mass of Christian Burial for Deb Olson, age 58, of Milaca, held Saturday, April 5th at St. Marys Catholic Church in Milaca with Fr. Tony Oelrich, Fr. Jim Remmerswaal, OSC and Deacon Steve Paraja officiating. Interment at St. Louis Cemetery in Foreston. Arr. Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home - Milaca www.pjfuneralhome.com
Deborah Ann Olson (Oelrich) was born April 1, 1956 to LeRoy and Donna (Koecheler) Oelrich in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from Milaca High School in 1974. She went to college and earned her degree as an x-ray technician. She gave birth to her only child, Mary, on November 25, 1975. She married Ron Olson on June 22, 1990 in Bayfield, Wisconsin. They lived in Foreston until Ron died in 1999. Deb worked at Fairview clinics in several capacities, but mostly as an x-ray technician and most recently at the St. Francis Clinic.
Her infectious, bubbly personality and sense of humor was what made her most endearing. She was a faithful and loyal daughter, sister, aunt, friend and above all mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, watching old movies, traveling (with an extra special love for New Mexico), and loved holidays with the heart and joy of a child. Deb passed away suddenly on her 58th birthday.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Rob Kruck of Milaca; grandchildren, Anthony, Taylar, Melanie and Katelyn; mother, Donna Oelrich of Foley; siblings, Steven (Kathy) Oelrich of St. Cloud, David (Julie) Oelrich of Oakdale, Lynn (Tom) Olson of Outing and Fr. Tony Oelrich of St. Cloud; also by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; her husband, Ron and her father, LeRoy.
