Mildred L. Sproessig

Mildred Lavon Sproessig, age 65, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at her home.
Mildred was born on June 18, 1948, the daughter of Lester and Beulah (Benzel) Wolfer. On November 21, 1964 at the age of 16, she was united in marriage to David Sproessig. Mildred always put others before herself. Painting and crafting were her favorite past times. She enjoyed filling her home with loving memories and lots of laughter. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She spent time at Blue Lake and Spec Lake teaching the children how to swim and fish. Mildred liked to spend lots of time in the kitchen baking and cooking up surprises that were tastefully simple. The children knew if it was something they liked, grandma would have it on hand. During the winter months she would whip up hot chocolate while the family cut wood outside; Mildred was not a fan of the cold weather. She loved to listen to old time country music and liked to use the saying, “Next Time.” She will be missed dearly by many.
Mildred is survived by her husband, David; children, Wanda (Bubba) Lee, David Sproessig Jr., Sandy (Tod) Nieken and Roxie (Paul) Petitt; sisters, Donna Vogele and Mary Longie; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Peggy Miller.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home.
