Police seek info on people ordering children into vehicles

The Princeton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance regarding two calls of suspicious activity that our agency received this week. The following are two separate incidences that had occurred and appear unrelated to each other.

At about 4 p.m. on Monday, April 7, a woman reported that while walking her children in the 800 block of First Street, a middle aged adult white male, driving a forest green small-sized pick-up with a tan colored topper asked the children to get into the vehicle. The children told the man that their mother was with them and he left the area.

At about 3:20 p.m. on Thursday, April 10,  within the 800 block of Rum River Drive N., a juvenile female reported  female between age of 30-40, driving a gold or tan SUV,  told her to get in the vehicle. The juvenile went to a business and contacted law enforcement. The vehicle was seen leaving the area  south in the direction of Highway 95.

If you have information regarding either one of these incidences contact the Princeton Police Department at 763-389-4879 or by email at [email protected] Attention: Sgt. Joe Backlund or Inv. Todd Frederick.
