Letter: Vote ‘Yes’ for the referendum

I believe a good education is very important to become a good citizen. Two schools where we lived closed when our children were young due to lack of community involvement. Upon our third move we searched the school first to find a good school system which was Princeton in 1971. I served on the evaluation committee to study the conditions of South Elementary and Sr. High Schools. After our committee work was finished we determined remodeling was too expensive and only a temporary fix.   We owe it to our community to update the schools if we want it to prosper. Property tax calculated daily is much less than a cup of coffee. Please vote yes for referendum in May 2014.   Jim Groebner, Princeton
