Princeton man injured in Highway 169 crash

Two Princeton men were involved  in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday on Highway 169 at 90th Street, between Pease and Long Siding.

Michael Schummer, 30 of Princeton, suffered minor injuries. Tyler Schwerzler, 29 of Princeton, was uninjured.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol: Schummer, driving a 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity, was northbound in the right lane on Highway 169 . Schwerzler, in a 2005 Ford truck, was eastbound on 90th Street and pulled out onto Highway 169, hitting the Schummer vehicle broadside.

Schummer suffered serious but non life threatening injuries. He was transported by ambulance to the Princeton hospital. Schwerzler suffered no apparent injury.

Schummer’s vehicle was totaled. Schwerzler’s vehicle sustained minor damage.
