Princeton Police Report: Week of May 22

The following reports were made to the Princeton Police Department May 12-19. The listed times are when the reports were received and not necessarily when incidents occurred. Compiled by Joel Stottrup.

Monday, May 12
12:45 p.m. Stolen vehicle recovered and returned to owner in Sauk Rapids.
2:42 p.m. Juvenile male in possession of tobacco and paraphernalia. Citation to be issued.
Tuesday, May 13
2:38 a.m. Observed moving vehicle confirmed stolen out of Cass County. Initiated felony stop, detained driver and had vehicle towed and impounded. Driver and two passengers released. Occupants transported to northern Mille Lacs County. Long form complaint to be sent to county attorney.
Wednesday, May 14
5:04 p.m. Two cameras taken from 110 Rum River Drive S (Ashworth Appliance & Electronics/Radio Shack).
7:38 p.m. Neighbor upset because child rolled into his yard after child crashed on his bike.
8:38 p.m. Disturbance. Mutual verbal confrontation between parties.
Thursday, May 15
5:40 p.m. Collapsed tents observed filled with miscellaneous items on 1100 block of Fifth Avenue North.
6:42 p.m. Woman, 24, arrested for theft at Family Dollar totaling $19.
8:13 p.m. Noise complaint. Person turned off music.
Friday, May 16
9:05 p.m. Casey’s North reported counterfeit $10 bill.
7:35 p.m. Report of pit bull chasing people in area of Third Street N. and Seventh Avenue.
9:12 p.m. Disturbance: Verbal dispute between male and female. Officer mediated the situation and gave female ride to hotel to stay for the night.
Saturday, May 17
3:05 p.m. Woman, 55, cited for failure to pay for $55.88 worth of merchandise at Wal-Mart.
7:39 p.m. Report of three males in car throwing things at pedestrians. Police learned the objects were toy foam arrows and advised the three males about decisions.
Sunday, May 18
4:13 a.m. Suspicious male on roof at 101 Rum River Drive. Male reported to be trying to get in window. Person chased male off at gunpoint.
