Marching Wolves kick off season Thursday


The Milaca High School Marching Wolves are proud to present their Summer 2014 street production entitled “AMAZING!”

This presentation of Amazing Grace evolves from a minor key to a major and hopeful resolution.  Join the band and guard as they take you to explore this new and exciting arrangement of a traditional piece of American music.

The Marching Wolves are led on the street by drum majors Ashley Haukos, Sarah Forker and Michael Garber.  Guard commanders are Jesa Spry, Erin Hackenmueller and Bailey Whittemore.

Musical arrangements are by Andrew Nelson and Jeremy Schreifels.

The drumline instructor is Anthony Peterson.

The colorguard instructors are Karin McCann and Chris Nelson.

The Marching Wolves are directed by Andrew Nelson.The Marching Wolves are a co-curricular extension of the Milaca High School Band program.

The Milaca Band program has over 450 members in grades 5-12.  The high school band program features two concert bands, jazz ensemble, pep band, numerous solo/ensemble activities and the Marching Wolves.

The Milaca High School Symphonic Band has performed twice at the MMEA Mid-Winter Clinic.

The Milaca High School Marching Wolves are known throughout the state for outstanding performance, and have earned numerous first place and caption awards every season.  The focus of the ensemble though is not competition; it is teamwork and camaraderie.

The band’s motto is “Discipline, Pride, Success!”
