“I have worked in both public and private sector in law” said Ms. Heaney.  “Delivery of quality service in a timely manner is critical to business-whether that business is government or the store around the corner. “  She continued: “I have made investments in technology to increase office efficiencies.  I have prioritized economic development projects.  We work to streamline handling of cases without losing site of the victim and the clients who we serve.”
Ms. Heaney works in with her partners in public safety.  She holds tri-yearly meetings with law enforcement, probation, Health and Human Services.  She is dedicating resources to truancy intervention, bullying intervention, safe schools and substance abuse prevention.   Her office provides yearly trainings for law enforcement.  She is proactive and collaborative in her efforts and actions.
