Princeton man killed in Highway 10 crash

A four-vehicle pileup on Highway 10 in Arden Hills on Friday, Aug. 22, claimed the life of a Princeton man.

David Eisen, 64, was stopped in traffic when his vehicle was rear-ended in the westbound lane of Highway 10 at County Road 96 in Ramsey County. Eisen was hit by a vehicle traveling at highway speeds. The collision resulted in fatal injuries to Eisen and a chain-reaction crash with two other vehicles, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Eisen was the lone passenger in a 2013 Chevrolet Impala that was totaled in the crash. He was wearing a seat belt and the vehicle’s air bags deployed, the State Patrol said.

The vehicle that hit Eisen’s vehicle was a 2006 Infinity M35 driven by Nicholas Anderson, 24, of Brainerd. The two vehicles ahead of Eisen’s were a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Corey Tramm, 36, of Cambridge, and a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Dustin Kroska, 26, of Fridley.

Anderson, Tramm, Kroska and four passengers in Kroska’s truck were uninjured, the State Patrol said.

The crash, reported at 4:36 p.m. Aug. 22, shut down traffic on Highway 10 between Interstate 35W and Interstate 694 for almost 3 1/2 hours, the State Patrol said.
