Man injured near Long Siding

A Milaca man was injured Thursday when his vehicle ran off the road south of Long Siding in Mille Lacs County.
The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. at U.S. Highway 169 and 55th Street north of Princeton.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Michael Jola, 24, was driving north on Highway 169 when his vehicle drifted off the road, crossed the median and southbound lanes. The vehicle stopped after crashing into some trees west of the southbound lane of Highway 169.
Jola was taken by ambulance to Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, where he was treated for injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
