The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between Sept. 5 and Sept. 11.. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when an incident occurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.
Monday, Sept. 5
11:24 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen on Fifth Ave. N. The car had been recovered by the time the theft was reported.
5:10 p.m. An intoxicated female yelling and banging on doors on West Branch Street. Woman was taken to detox.
6:56 p.m. A shoplifter was reported at Walmart. Items recovered. Shoplifter fled the scene.
10:08 p.m. A 20-year-old male and a juvenile female were arrested following a report of a fight on Eighth Avenue.
Tuesday, Sept. 6
2 p.m. A gas drive-off was reported at Casey’s South.
Wednesday, Sept. 7
3:15 a.m. A “fair amount” of garbage was dumped in Riverside Park.
8:50 a.m. A tennis racket was reported stolen from a vehicle on 14th Ave. S.
9:14 a.m. A person was located sleeping on a sidewalk on 19th Ave. N. Person said he was resting before heading to St. Cloud. Same person located later sleeping on lawn at Madre Loca. Subject was taken to the Greyhound Bus terminal in St. Cloud.
Thursday, Sept. 8
3:23 p.m. The theft of medication was reported from a vehicle on Rum River Dr. S.
4:07 p.m. Received a report of someone selling electronics out of a vehicle on Second Street S.
Friday, Sept. 9
2:42 p.m. A minor crash was reported on Northland Drive.
4:20 p.m. A bike was found in the 300 block of Rum River Dr.
7:17 p.m. The theft of a mountain bike was reported in the 600 block of rum River Dr.
8:28 p.m. A 19-year-old male and a 19-year-old female were arrested on Highway 95 and 75th Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession.
Saturday, Sept. 10
9:37 a.m. A vehicle drove onto a sidwalk on 5th Avenue N. and sideswiped a legally parked vehicle. The vehicle the continued and struck a culvert at 5th Avenue and 8th Street. No suspects identified. Damage estimated at over $1,000.
4:02 p.m. A minor accident was reported on Northland Drive.
Sunday, Sept. 11
2:42 a.m. A verbal domestic dispute was reported on 10th Ave. N. Parties seperated for the night.
3:54 a.m. A wrong-way driver was reported on Highway 169. Driver had substantial facial injuries from an assault earlier in the evening. Driver arrested for DWI and taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Vehicvle was towed from scene.
11:07 a.m. A burglary was reported at a storage unit on 7th Street N.
1:24 p.m. Did a welfare check on Fairway Drive. Occupant of residence was deceased. Turned over to Sherburne County Sheriff’s Department for investigation.
2:08 p.m. An extremely intoxicated female was helped into the truck of her husband, who was sober and took the woman home.
