BRAHAM – East Central Energy (ECE) members can contribute to the operation of their electric cooperative by attending the annual meeting and sharing their thoughts and voices 6 p.m. April 20 in two locations:
•The Braham Event Center, 655 8th St. SW, Braham, Minnesota.
•The ECE Superior Operations Center (via live video), 3617 E. Baumgartner Road, Superior,
Attendees can begin registration at 5 p.m., and light refreshments will be served. President/CEO Steve Shurts will review the cooperative’s 2016 financial report and highlight significant events from the past year. He will explain how the seven cooperative principles guide ECE and help it stay true to its mission as change reshapes the electric industry.
Members will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain helpful information about the industry and issues that impact their bill. Newly-elected ECE directors will be announced, and the Touchstone Energy Community Award will be presented to the 2016 winner, SACs Enrichment Center.
