Fairview offers free Living Well workshop

Princeton – Fairview Northland Medical Center sponsors a free Living Well workshop, a six-week session that explores healthy ways to live and maintain an active lifestyle while managing the symptoms of chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, cancer and heart disease. People leave the workshops with increased confidence to manage symptoms and a plan to maintain an active lifestyle.
Trained leaders guide participants in finding practical ways to deal with their conditions. This evidence-based workshop uses a standardized, proven methodology to help people develop goals for improved nutrition and exercise, a better understanding of treatment options and improved communications with family and doctors about their health plans.
Workshop locations and dates: Wednesdays May 17-June 14, 6–8:30 p.m., Princeton Middle School Media Center.
All participants will receive a free book: “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions,” and everyone who completes the workshop receives a $25 gift card.
The class is free, but space is limited to 16 participants per workshop. For more information, call 763-389-4789, register online through Princeton Community Education at ceisfun.com (Class #S17-LWBH), or contact Kathy Bystrom at 651-257-8439.
