The Milaca Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a part-time executive director due to the retirement of our current director Rich Melvin on June 31. The successful applicant will be a team player who is energetic, motivated and organized.
The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer and Senior staff person and is responsible for the full range of Chamber activities including but not limited to: coordination of the program of work, organization structure and procedures, motivation of volunteers, assistance with event planning and implementation, management of income and expenditures, community outreach, service and promotion, membership growth and retention, communication with membership and community, interpretation of policy, vision planning and maintenance of the Chamber office. This is a part-time position with flexible hours requiring attendance at some occasional night and weekend events. Experience working with nonprofit boards, volunteers and committees preferred.
