See outdoor movies in Zimmerman

zimmerman – Everyone is welcome to gather for yard games and large-screen movies in the park throughout July and August at Lions Park in Zimmerman, 25880 Main St.
The evenings are open to the community and held so that “friends family and neighbors will continue to get to know each other a bit better throughout the summer.” The movie events are hosted and sponsored by Keller Williams Realty Integrity Northwest – Mandy Kruse and Associates.
Movies begin around 9 p.m. Tuesdays:
•July 11 is a showing of “Trolls.”
•July 25 is a showing of “Mighty Ducks.”
•Aug. 1 is a showing of “Moana,” and the event coincides with Zimmerman’s Night to Unite.
•Aug. 15 is a showing of “Sandlot.”
Movie watchers can arrive about 8 p.m. to play yard Jenga and Yahtzee as well as a bean-bag toss games and the Guess What’s Cookin’ food truck offering a variety of snacks. Movies start at about sunset.
The group approached Princeton about hosting some of the movie nights in Mark Park, but the city parks close by ordinance at 10 p.m. so there would not be enough time to hold the event. The city suggested possibly connecting with the owner of the former art-cooperative building for a possible venue.
