Spoke Folk to arrive at Glendorado Sunday

Glendorado Lutheran Church will play host on Sunday to a group of students from across the United States, known as Spoke Folk.
This group of high school and college students, approximately 40 participants, will be riding their bicycles into Princeton to share.
Spoke Folk is like a mission trip for the students who tour on their bicycles from one church to another, visiting different states.
While here they will be performing their music, puppets and drama as they share their faith.
Plans call for the group to arrive at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday as a part of their 12-day bike tour.
The Glendorado Church will serve supper at 5 p.m., while the Spoke Folk participants are scheduled to perform at 7 p.m.
Pastor Barb Peterson noted, “last time we had riders from California, Florida and Hawaii, just all over.”
She added, “this is their ministry, just what they do and it is quite delightful.”
Coffee and cookies will be served after the concert during fellowship time.
Spoke Folk members will be housed at the church overnight, while Good Shepherd and Gethsemane members will be serving breakfast on Monday, prior to the group riding on to the next church.
A blanket invitation has gone out to all Sunday school students, parents, mentors, friends and neighbors to join in this event.
“This is a wonderful experience for everyone,” Peterson said.
