Elijah Shoemaker plays Jack in Milaca High School’s performance of “The Tin Woman” on Friday, Jan. 26. The one-act play follows Joy after she receives a heart transplant from Jack and the emotional turmoil that she and Jack’s family face as a result of the transplant and Jack’s death. Following their public performance, the students performed the one-act play in the hopes of making it to sectionals on Saturday, Jan. 27. The students made it into the top eight performance, and will be moving on to perform at sectionals.
